Carlile gives free Hag concert


YouTube video footage is all over Facebook following an impromptu concert performed by Brandi Carlile at the Coffee Hag Friday night. Apparently, after the singer-songwriter performed her set at the Alltel Center, she headed to the Hag on Riverfront Drive. The first 130 people in line were guaranteed spots inside, and a line circled out the door and down the street. Mankato area fans left comments on Facebook saying they stood on top of tables outside trying to get a peek inside, where video was taken from the second row and posted on YouTube. We're not sure how the concert was announced or how word got around, but some people said they were sworn to secrecy and ditched friends to get to the show.
